Terms and Conditions
1. Who we are
This website is run by CAMPFIRE GROUP LTD ("Campfire", "we", "us" or "our"). We're a company registered in England and Wales under company number 11778284 with our registered office at Anchorage 1 Anchorage Quay, Salford, England, M50 3YL. Our VAT number is GB339493072.
You can contact us at contact@campfire.co.uk, or at Anchorage 1, Salford Quays, Greater Manchester, M50 3YL.
These terms only cover your use of this website. If you work with us as a client, creator or supplier, your contract with us governs that work, and it takes priority over anything here.
2. Using our website
You're welcome to browse the site, read our work and insights, and share links to any page. The site is for people interested in working with us, working for us, or learning about what we do.
The site is free to use and is meant for people aged 18 or over. We don't guarantee it will always be available or free of errors, and we may change, suspend or remove any part of it without notice. Our website is aimed at people in the UK, though anyone is welcome to use it, as long as they follow the law where they are.
If someone else uses the site through your device or internet connection, please make sure they know about these terms too.
3. Who owns what
Our content. The design, text, graphics, video and other material on this site belong to Campfire, or are used with the owner's permission. The same goes for our reports and insights, and for the names Cultural Intelligence Suite, Spark, Compass, Creator Lab and Vibe Check.
Client brands and campaign work. Client names, logos and brand assets belong to those clients. We show them, with permission, to illustrate work we've done. Featuring a brand doesn't mean it endorses this website or anything other than the work shown.
Creator content. Images, videos and posts made by creators belong to those creators or to the brands they were made for. We show them with permission. Please don't download, reuse or repost them from our site.
What you can do. You can view, print and share pages for your own use, or to tell other people about Campfire. You can quote short extracts from our insights and reports, as long as you credit Campfire and link to the original page. For anything else, such as reusing our content commercially, editing it, or using a client's or creator's material, ask us first at contact@campfire.co.uk.
Trade marks. Nothing on this site gives you permission to use the Campfire name or logo, or any client's name or logo. This applies in your own marketing, pitches or materials too, unless we, or that client, have agreed it in writing.
Linking to our site. You can link to any page on our site, as long as you do it fairly and legally. Please don't link in a way that suggests we're connected to you or endorse you when we're not. Please don't put our pages inside a frame on another site, or link from a site that's unlawful or offensive. We can ask you to remove a link at any time.
4. Case studies, results and insights
The results in our case studies come from the campaign reporting we shared with each client. They were accurate for the period described. Platforms measure things differently and change how they report over time, so figures may not match what you see elsewhere.
Past results show what we've achieved for specific brands at a specific time. They're not a promise of what a future campaign will deliver. Our insights, reports and articles are general information about social media and culture, not advice for your business. Please don't rely on them without talking to us, or to your own advisers, first.
5. Things you must not do
When using our website, please don't:
- copy, scrape or harvest content, images or data from the site in bulk, including with bots, crawlers or AI tools, without our written permission
- use our content, or our clients' or creators' material, to train AI models
- present our work, case studies or results as your own
- try to get unauthorised access to the site, its servers or any connected systems, or interfere with how it works
- upload or send anything containing viruses or other harmful code
- use the site in a way that breaks the law, or that's fraudulent or harmful
- send spam, or impersonate anyone, through our forms
If you break these rules, we'll decide what to do based on what happened. We may warn you, block your access to the site for a while or permanently, or take legal action to recover our costs. Where the law requires it, or we think it's right to, we may also report the matter to the police or other authorities.
6. What you send us, other websites, and keeping the site safe
Enquiries and applications. When you get in touch, sign up to our newsletter or apply for a job, you're confirming that what you send is accurate and that you're allowed to share it. Please don't send confidential information through our forms. If we need it, we'll set up a proper way to share it, such as an NDA. We handle any personal information you send in line with our Privacy Policy.
Links to other websites. Our site links to other sites, including social platforms, client websites and creator profiles. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or how they use your information.
Viruses. We work to keep the site secure, but we can't guarantee it's free of viruses or other harmful code. Please use your own security software.
Something on our site you think is yours? We take care to only show work, images and logos we have permission to use. If you think something on the site infringes your rights, email contact@campfire.co.uk. Tell us what it is, where it appears on the site and why you think it's yours. We'll look into it quickly and remove it if we need to.
7. Our liability
We provide this website free of charge and as it is. We make no promises that its content is complete, accurate or up to date.
As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or relying on its content. This includes loss of profit, revenue, business, data or goodwill, and any indirect loss.
If we are found liable to you for anything to do with the website, our total liability is limited to £100. The site is free and the content is general, so we think that's fair.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Our liability for work we do for clients, creators and suppliers is set out in our contracts with them, not in these terms.
Your responsibility. If you use the site in a way that breaks these terms or the law, and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses that result for us. That includes our reasonable legal costs.
8. Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information, including through cookies.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the bottom shows when they last changed. Please check back now and then, because the version on the site when you use it is the one that applies.
10. Law, disputes and the legal bits
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Only the courts of England and Wales can deal with any dispute about them, or about your use of the site.
A few more things:
- If a court decides part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we don't enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about using this website.
- Using the site doesn't create a partnership, employment or agency relationship between us.
- Only you and Campfire have rights under these terms. Nobody else can enforce them.
